Joana Gonçalves de Sá is Coordinator Investigator at SPAC – Social Physics & Complexity Lab. Before that, she was an Associate Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico and Nova SBE and the leader of the Data Science and Policy research group.
João Pereira dos Santos
João Pereira dos Santos holds a PhD in Economics from Nova SBE. He is a researcher at Queen Mary University of London, a research affiliate at IZA and a research fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research.
Catarina Alvarez
Catarina Alvarez holds a PhD in Economics from Nova SBE. Previously, she was a predoctoral research fellow at the University of Barcelona and Institut d’Economia de Barcelona (IEB). She has been a Teaching Assistant and Grader for several courses at Nova SBE and at the University of Barcelona.
Margarida Araújo
Margarida is currently a research assistant at Nova SBE. She holds a MSc and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics.
Tiago Bernardino
Tiago Bernardino is currently a PhD Candidate in Economics at the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES) at Stockholm University. Previously, he was a Visiting Research Fellow at LSE and a Research Assistant at Nova SBE. He holds a MSc and a undergraduate degree in Economics from the same institution.
Marli Fernandes
Marli holds a PhD in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics. She obtained her Bachelor and Master in Economics from the same institution. Her research interests are focused on Political Economy and Economics of Migration.
Miguel Ferreira
Miguel holds a PhD in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics. He is a lecturer in the School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University since 2022. He previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at Nova and as a Junior Economist at the Portuguese Treasury and Debt Management Agency.
Marlon Francisco
Marlon Francisco is a PhD candidate and Teaching Assistant at Nova SBE, and an Economist (consultant) at the World Bank. Previously, he worked as an Economist for Fitch Ratings, the Portuguese Treasury and Debt Management Agency (IGCP), and the International Monetary Fund (African Department).
Inês Gonçalves Raposo
Inês is a PhD Candidate in Economics at Bocconi University, with research interests in macroeconomics and labour economics. Previously she worked as an Affiliate Fellow at Bruegel and at the Financial Stability Department of Banco de Portugal.
