Marlon Francisco is a PhD candidate and Teaching Assistant at Nova SBE, and an Economist (consultant) at the World Bank. Previously, he worked as an Economist for Fitch Ratings, the Portuguese Treasury and Debt Management Agency (IGCP), and the International Monetary Fund (African Department).
His research interests span applied and theoretical microeconometrics, especially in the field of labor economics, returns to education and peer effects, and household finance. Marlon holds degrees from MIT, Columbia University, Nova FCSH, and Nova IMS.
