Nova SBE Economics for Policy Knowledge Center Launches Summer School on Public Policy Evaluation
With funding from the Programa de Assistência Técnica 2030 (PAT2030), this Summer School focuses on programs and measures supported by European funds in Portugal.
Instructors: Professors Pedro Martins, José Tavares, Susana Peralta (Nova SBE), and Miguel Portela (University of Minho);
Main Topics: Conceptual Frameworks; Empirical Methods (including software such as Stata and R); Case Studies; Preparation and Discussion of Projects;
Duration: 52 hours, from September 2 to October 28, 2024, with weekly Monday sessions (Morning and Afternoon);
Format: In-person training at the Nova School of Business and Economics campus in Carcavelos, except for the initial and final sessions;
Target Audience: Members of the European funds ecosystem in Portugal.
