Miguel Lebre Freitas

Miguel Lebre de Freitas holds a PhD in Economics from the University of London, in the United Kingdom.

His research focuses mainly on Open Economy Macroeconomics, and other areas of interest include the Portuguese Economy and Economic Growth. He teaches or has taught several courses on Macroeconomics at both NovaSBE, Universidade de Aveiro, and Católica Porto Business School.

Miguel has been a board member of the Office for Strategy and Studies of the Portuguese Ministry of Economy, and a senior consultant for the European Commission, the European Court of Auditors, the World Bank and the Bank of Portugal.
